Kim Jong-Il and Kim Il-Sung

On April 25, 2007, Kim Jong-Il appeared in the ceremony in Pyongyang marking the 75th anniversary of North Korean Army with his brass hats, most of them are senile members who fought in the Korean Army.
Most senior of them was the 79-year-old Cho Myong-Rok, director general of political affairs. Cho is the most powerful man in North Korean Army. The leader Kim Jong-Il, who succeeded power from his father the late Great Leader Kim Il-Sung, rules North Korea. He holds three key positions: Chairman of the National Defense Commission, Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army, and General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
