"Making a Splash This Summer"
Look Media ad

Look Media, an innovative young Australian advertising company has opened its doors in Korea, for its first market entry in Asia.

Started in Sydney isx years ago Look Media introduced a new sales and marketing just as corporate marketing was getting really interested in street and mobile media concepts. Look Media use Italian scooters to tow ultra stylish billboard trailers in convoy around the streets.

From humble beginnings of two scooters, we now operate in more than 25 cities in 8 different countries, mainly in Europe and the US, and continually expanding.

Other forms of mobile street advertising such as buses and trucks have been around for decades, Look Media have reworked the idea by introducing a product, which is in itself appealing to the public. The cute look of little scooters towing stylish trailers projects a cool, creative image, making our clients look good and guaranteed to turn heads.

Look Media use Italian Piaggio scooters and manufacture sleek looking trailers in house, custom designed for towing behind scooters. They have a light box for night campaigns and a built in sound system to play music as they cruise. The scooters travel in convoy around designated high visibility areas for added impact.

Look Media Korea ad

Look Media Korea opened for business late 2005, and has already proven itself a hit, with a steady clientele of both Korean and foreign companies. This summer is expected to be very busy, being our first summer in Korea, and with the added excitement of the world cup, where we will use our mobile advantage to get right in among the world cup fans at city hall.

We will also be seen on beaches, in nightlife areas and shopping districts, anywhere where exposure is high. Look Media envisage a solid future in Korea, particularly as scooters are just starting to take off here and get really fashionable, a trend which has been going on for the past few years internationally.

Look Media makes more of the scooters than a static billboard, with 80 percent of clients taking the option to incorporate product sampling, clients can also choose their own music, dress riders in their chosen uniforms and run selected routes and times for their target market.

Look Media's head office is located in Seoul, we recently signed our first franchise licence for Taegu, and intend to expand nationwide as other franchise partners come onboard throughout the year. Look Media is headed up in Korea by an Australian Charles Thirlwall one of the original partners of Look Media from Australia.

Keep watching for two more very "out there" products to be introduced soon ...
