Israel, Gaza and Doha: The Sham of the Western and Islamist Alliance against Syria
By Lee Jay Walker Tokyo Correspondent
 | Israel, Gaza and Doha: The Sham of the Western and Islamist Alliance against Syria
| The Doha fraud which brought about the so-called National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces is now being seen in the true light of day. After this un-democratic grouping was formed in un-democratic Qatar, the ridiculous mish-mass within this grouping now follows the estranged reality of nations supporting the destabilization of Syria. While the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces was always viewed to be a gimmick because the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and various Islamists groups on the ground are killing religious minorities, pro-government individuals and attacking the Kurds. Now the same can be said about the coalition of nations which are destabilizing Syria because the crisis in Gaza is evidence of this.It is abundantly clear that Israel holds no love towards the government of Bashar al-Assad in Syria and likewise the Syrian government remains steadfast in it support of the Palestinians, despite the treachery of Hamas which supports the FSA and destabilization of this nation. However, while political elites in France, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and America, have turned a blind eye to many FSA Islamist massacres in Syria and atrocious car bombings; it is clear that Israel is worried about the next phase meaning Doha. After all, it is clear that the United Kingdom and France which unleashed such brutal force against Libya are now intent on doing the same to Syria. America is caught in the middle despite wanting the demise of the Bashar al-Assad government because the growing power base of Islamist terrorists is worrying many within the corridors of powers. Yet the spin machine in America still threatens to usurp this concern in order to create a new major conflict. Turkey meanwhile under Erdogan clearly desires to enter parts of Syria in order to do the bidding of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf states which are all ruled by Sunni elites. Therefore, the sham of the so-called National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces is being openly seen for what it is because Israel within a single day dismantled the ¡°false unity¡± of powerful Western nations, Turkey and feudal and un-democratic monarchies in the Gulf. The notion of the new Syrian entity being united when their FSA and Islamist ¡°foot soldiers¡± are beheading, torturing and killing people on the grounds of religion, ethnicity and political persuasions is clearly fraudulent. Indeed, it says much that this entity was created in Qatar which is responsible for supporting terrorism, sectarianism and sedition against Syria. However, for Alawites, Christians, secularists, mainstream Sunni Muslims, Kurds and any moderate force to support the FSA and Islamist ¡°foot soldiers¡± – then clearly they are paving the way for the same killers to come after themselves in the future. After all, when did al-Qaeda and other Islamist terrorist groups care about religious diversity and the rights of women? Also, the actions of Israel in Gaza are highlighting the ridiculous notion that Sunni Islamists are fighting ¡°a holy war¡± in Syria. In many videos the FSA and Sunni Islamist terrorist groups are shown to be killing Alawites, the Shia and Christians while quoting the Koran. The same barbaric forces also quote the Koran while killing Sunni Muslims because of their loyalty to the Syrian government. More alarming, many Sunni Islamist clerics in the Gulf and within Syria have been heard whereby they are inciting sectarian hatred and the same can be said of some media agencies. Yet when Israel retaliates to intimidation against Islamists in Gaza then where are the same Islamic jihadists? Also, will the same media agencies which have incited violence against the Syrian people – will they also incite terrorists to go to Israel? If not, then Israel is also highlighting the ¡°Sunni Islamic jihad sham¡± which is basically based on killing mainly fellow Muslims in Syria on behalf of Gulf States and Turkey.Yet the Doha agreement is dangerous because it is giving new opportunities to France and the United Kingdom ¡°to spin¡± another military intervention. This applies to joining the forces of Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia which support direct military intervention against the government of Syria. Therefore, this political unity is very dangerous for the government of Syria because it is the last major throw of the dice in overthrowing the independence of Syria.Israel, however, is neither a puppet of Washington or Sunni Islamist states which are supporting sectarianism and terrorism against Syria. Also, no nation in the world would want to be a neighbor of the FSA Islamists given their systematic barbarity and persecution of religious minorities. The conflict against Libya is also further evidence to Israel that outside nations are creating ¡°a brutal hornet nest¡± by giving Sunni Islamists and Salafists a new lease of life. Not only this, after the brutal massacres of Gaddafi loyalists and black Africans by the rebels in Libya who were supported by NATO and Gulf states; then this was followed with the destabilization of northern Mali and the destruction of Sufi shrines in both nations. Obviously, Mali and Israel are very different in military terms but it is clear that Islamists are getting closer to Israel and this is happening ¡°under the watch¡± of Washington, London and Paris. Now the nations who support Doha are also in disagreement over the current situation between Gaza (Palestine) and Israel. This means that the so-called opposition groups towards the government of Syria are trying to show ¡°a false unity¡± and likewise the main nations which support Doha are trying to ¡°hold onto their false unity.¡± Israel clearly understands that a fresh momentum is brewing in Ankara, London and Paris and because of this a new Gaza crisis erupted which highlights the sham of the destabilization of Syria. Not only this, it also means that Israel not only fears a new Islamist totalitarian regime in the future because so-called opposition forces have no power on the ground – just like the fiasco of modern day Libya which is ruled by a patchwork of militias; and equally important, Israel is worried that the Russian Federation and other nations will not be able to prevent the current military momentum which is desired in Ankara, London and Paris. In Egypt the ¡°indigenous Palestinians¡± called the Coptic Christian reside under new forces which still haven¡¯t shown their full hand. Yet constant attacks and inequality in many areas of society means that Coptic Christians have much to fear from the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafist groups. The hatred is clear within the various Salafist groups towards the Coptic Christian community and all Muslims, Christians, socialists, liberals, atheists and secularists. Despite this, the murky past of the Muslim Brotherhood in nations like Egypt and Syria is clear for all. However, the Obama government and political elites in London and Paris appear to either be aloof from reality – or they are just in cohorts with the plans of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf states. The new leader to emerge from the treachery of Doha within the so-called Syrian opposition is Moaz al-Khatib. This individual is clearly good at spin because he states that ¡°We demand freedom for every Sunni, Alawite, Ismaili (Shia), Christian, Druze, Assyrian ¡¦ and rights for all parts of the harmonious Syrian people.¡±In another article by Modern Tokyo Times it was stated that ¡°If Khatib believes in this statement then will he denounce the Gulf nations which persecute non-Muslims, apostates, minority Muslim groups, women and which refuse to introduce any notion of democracy? Likewise, will he denounce the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and various different Islamist terrorist groups? If not, then clearly Khatib is trying to mislead the international community, whereby this publicity stunt is trying to disguise the religious cleansing of minorities by the FSA and various Islamist groups.¡±The Syrian government remains steadfast in its support of the Palestinian cause therefore Israel is being condemned strongly within the mass media of this nation. Indeed, the one remarkable fact about the ongoing destabilization of Syria by Sunni Islamic dominated nations and major Western powers, is that Bashar al-Assad is the only political leader who isn¡¯t vindictive. This applies to the fact that Turkey desires to drag Syria into a war and for NATO to bomb this nation. Similarly, the Sunni Islamist Hamas group is also inciting hatred towards the government of Syria. However, Bashar al-Assad remains steadfast in the spirit of brotherhood with ordinary Turks and Palestinians. It is this independent spirit within Syria and the secular nature of this nation, which continues to infuriate Western powers and Sunni Islamic dominated nations throughout the region based on different internal factors.Israel is already hated throughout the region therefore responding to military attacks being unleashed by several Islamist factions in Gaza provides several opportunities. Firstly, the first need is to defend Israel from attacks being launched from Gaza even if the balance of forces is clearly one sided. Secondly, the actions of Islamists in Gaza are a golden opportunity for Israel to put ¡°a major spanner in the works of Doha¡± because Israel is against military intervention in Syria.Syria may despise many aspects of Israel or indeed want the destruction of this nation just like many regional nations, which would push the ¡°Jews into the sea¡± if given an opportunity. Yet, the ¡°cold reality¡± is that Sunni Islamist terrorists coming to Syria are entering via mainly Muslim nations in Turkey and Jordan and in Sunni Muslim dominated areas in Lebanon (this nation is very mixed despite being mainly Muslim). Iraq is against the destabilization of Syria because of daily Sunni Islamist attacks against the Shia but this nation is too weak to stem terrorists entering Syria. Similarly, the FSA and various Islamist terrorist groups are being funded by Sunni Muslim dominated leaders in Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and in many Gulf nations which support sectarianism.Turning back to another quote by Modern Tokyo Times it was stated that ¡°If any individual desires to claim that religious freedom under Bashar al-Assad and the rights of women, and other important areas, are less than any other Gulf nation then this is a clear lie. Also, in nations like Saudi Arabia not one single non-Muslim place of worship is allowed and apostates to any other faith equates to the death penalty. Therefore, why is it that Gulf nations care about religious freedom and democracy when they all persecute, to various different degrees, at home – and whereby democracy isn¡¯t on the agenda?¡±Irrespective of the rights and wrongs of Israel and the Palestinian issue, the recent Gaza crisis is highlighting the mass hypocrisy which is being unleashed against Syria. Also, the actions of Israel is ¡°pointing a dagger at Doha¡± because it proves that the so-called opposition in Syria is divided; nations supporting the destabilization of Syria are also now divided over the Gaza crisis; and finally it mocks Sunni Islamic jihadists who are going to Syria to mainly kill Muslims and other minority faith groups like Christians. After all, where is their so-called Islamic jihad against Israel and how can they justify going to Syria given the reality of the Middle East? The same applies to nations supporting sectarianism and terrorism against Syria – because if these nations don¡¯t respond to Israel then their propaganda and spreading Islamic jihad will be seen for the ¡°fraud¡± it is. This fraud also applies to un-democratic Gulf nations which care nothing about political and religious freedom. In this sense, Israel is trying to block the war mongers based in Ankara, London and Paris, which seek direct military intervention against Syria by doing the bidding of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Israel is in no mood ¡°to play ball¡± with all the chaotic forces engulfing many parts of the Middle East and the same applies to the intrigues of Western powers, which are creating daily terrorism and instability in Syria. It is vital that Syria doesn¡¯t fall into any trap by the Muslim Brotherhood and the hidden desires of many Islamists throughout the region. When Syrian military shells allegedly struck Turkey (some done by the FSA) the Erdogan government tried to use this in order to create a regional war and get NATO involved. Yet, Israel, despite responding to similar issues, made it clear that the Syrian armed forces were attacking al-Qaeda and other Islamists and that it wasn¡¯t intentional. Syria is bleeding today because of the barbarity of the FSA and various Islamist factions. These barbaric terrorists groups are being supported to various degrees by America, Turkey, France, the UK, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the policies of various Islamist political movements like the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafists which are inciting sectarianism. Given these various realities, then the Israel and Gaza crisis highlights the sham in all directions which are aimed at military intervention in Syria. In this sense, the Doha agreement is fraudulent from head to toe because not only is the opposition divided, the same applies to nations supporting chaos against Syria and how can Islamists keep on justifying killing fellow Muslims based on sectarian grounds given the crisis in Gaza?leejay@moderntokyotimes.comThe above story is from Modern Tokyo Times http://moderntokyotimes.comThe above article was written by Boutros Hussein and Lee Jay Walker.
