Palestinian Envoy Waleed Siam Speaks on Hamas-Israeli War at Oman Embassy in Seoul

Mr. Waleed Siam, non-residing ambassador of State of Palestine to South Korea, will speak on the current situation surrounding war between Palestine and Israel at the press conference to be held at Oman Embassy in downtown Seoul on Nov. 22, 2023, the embassy announced in its news release recently.The press conference at 2:30 p.m. is arranged by the Arab Diplomatic Corps, the release said.The 68-year-old Palestinian envoy is expected to explain the Palestinian side of the conflict as world's reports grow that Hamas is ready to agree on the truce with the Israel. Siam represented Palestine in Japan for the last 25 years. He has been holding the ambassadorial position since 2003. During his long years of ambassadorship in Japan he visited several Japanese foreign ministers in the office, holding talks with them and with other top politicians for mutual cooperation to keep peace and security in Gaza Stripe and other parts of the Middle East area. As recently as Oct. 30, 2023, the Palestinian envoy paid a courtesy call on Japanese foreign minister, Ms. Kamikawa Yoko at her office in Tokyo.
