Refuting Writing on Animal Cruelty
A group of dogs are being crushed in a small cage in Moran Market in Seongnam east of Seoul. A dog's paw looks injured. The dogs are just waiting to be butchered to be consumed as delicacies for the local people. Moran Market is notorious for being the largest dog meat market in Seoul.

I just read, with horror, the letter published in
today's Seoul Times. The writer expresses extremely
distateful views, plus a massive degree of cultural
arrogance.

However, his English is also terrible, which makes me wonder whether a citizen of the USA (as he claims to be) could actually write so badly.

My feeling is that this person is either extremely
stupid, or actually a Korean person who is attempting
to make people hate Westerners.

Either way, please be aware that this letter does not reflect the opinions of most western people living in Korea.

Thank you

Daniel Tudor
