Gaza City, Jan. 24 — Palestinian security and medical sources declared that the Israeli forces handed them the bodies of two Palestinian citizens, identified later as Ashraf and Samir Al Mobayyed.

According to hospital officials in Gaza City, the bodies of both young men were torn apart by bullets, and some of their clothes and personal belongings were missing.

Israeli military sources said that both Palestinians were spotted by an Israeli border patrol near the borders east of Gaza Strip, and that soldiers, after opening fire and killing the Palestinians, found mobile phones and a binoculars on them.

None of these were delivered to the Palestinian side, according to the Palestinian security directorate in Gaza. It was noted that the killed Palestinians wore casual civilian clothing, and that they were shot near a local juice factory east of Gaza City.

Despite the presence of many industrial and commercial installations for the Palestinians in the area east of Gaza Strip and near the border fence with Israel, the Israeli forces consider this area off-limits and adopt a shoot-on-sight policy against those who come near the area.
