Free Classes on Korean History, Culture to Be Offered for Foreigners
Free and quality classes on Korean history and culture were offered for foreign residents from Sept. 17th through Sept. 28th as part of a government plan to acquaint foreigners with the local culture and history.

The classes, co-sponsored by The Korean Information Service and Kyung Hee University included oriental medicine, Korean movies, arts, music and literature. The classes were conducted in English on Kyung Hee campus downtown Seoul.

Some classes including traditional Korean food, comparison of Korean and Japanese language, and characteristics of Korean philosophy were conducted in Japanese language.

Free Korean food and Taekwondo demonstration, Korean traditional music and dance performance were offered at the end of the lectures. Each class was taught by noted professor of the nation's universities and colleges.
