EU-Korea Business Forum to Be Held in Seoul
Ambassador Gerhard Sabathil, head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea

"EU-Korea Business Forum" will be held at Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Gwanghwamun area of Seoul on Sept. 22 (Thursday), 2016.

The forum will be co-hosted by the European Union (EU) Delegation to Korea, the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK), and the Korean Importers Association(KOIMA).

The Forum is officially titled "The EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement(FTA) after Five Years: What's Been achieved and What's Next?"

This forum will be inaugurated by Mr. Jyrki Katainen, vice president of the European Commission for Jobs, Growth, Investment, and Competitiveness.

Prof. Bark Tae-Ho, former trade minister of Korea, will deliver congratulatory remarks at the forum to mark the 5th anniversary of FTA implementation.

The forum seeks to engage participants in a dialogue about the results to date from the FTA and to share perspectives on future opportunities and challenges.
